100 Days!

Tomorrow is such an exciting day--we'll be in the double digits! ANDDDD my most precious friends in the world will be here for my bachelorette and personal shower weekend.  We've been talking about it for months--I can't believe it's here! I am straight up giddy with excitement. :) :) :)

Weekend Recap: Lake and Thrifting

Daniel and I went to Tulsa this weekend to get wedding invitations figured out and spend a day on the water with my family.

My dad and I did a little thrifting Sunday and I picked up this pretty little thing. ^^  I've been looking for a bag to take to the lake, so I was excited to find something affordable and cute!

I'll be busy the next few days preparing for several very special guests this weekend--can't wait!

Invitations, Counseling, and Dinner--Oh My!

This pretty came in the mail yesterday and I could not be more excited!  Nataley is the best Matron of Honor, and she made the cutest invitations. :) 

Daniel and I met with our pastor and officiant, Ronnie, yesterday over lunch for our first premarital counseling session.  It sounds like we're going to go pretty deep into the guts of marriage.  I'm excited/anxious/nervous!

We're off to Tulsa tonight after work to get wedding invitations and possibly rehearsal dinner plans finalized.  

Wedding Inspiration: Videography

Up to this point, Daniel and I have felt like this whole budget wedding planning so we can give to charity thing has been going almost too smoothly.  We haven't really had to sacrifice any of the things we want for our wedding day, and we feel so blessed and thankful for that.  But, as we're nearing the three month mark, we're facing a little hiccup in finding something that definitely won't make or break the excitement of our big day, but has the potential to preserve the memories of it in such a special way: videography. 

We (I, mostly, I'll admit it) would really LOVE to find someone or a few someones who are comfortable behind a camera and maybe hoping to break into video editing at some point.  It'd be SO PERFECT to give someone a little experience, someone who has been hoping for an opportunity to try their hands at creating pretty little videos.  I am being selfish in this dream, I know.  But some of the wedding videos I've seen are just so stinkin' fantastic!

Honeymoon Announcement

I realized I never really announced our honeymoon plans on here--so there you go!

Can't wait to be a Mrs., to hop on a plane with my husband (wahhhh that's a crazy word!), and to spend a week somewhere beautiful and completely unexplored by us! :)

Double Date Weekend: Saturday

Yesterday Daniel, Jake, Lindsey, and I drove out to the Wild Wilderness Safari in Gentry.  Daniel and I have been talking about making it out there for a while now, so having them in town seemed like the perfect opportunity. We saw so many really beautiful animals and laughed a lot at some of the less attractive ones (emus are just straight up scary looking). 

Double Date Weekend: Friday

I've collected lots of happy photos from this long holiday weekend!  I very much enjoyed having Jake and Lindsey in town for a few days, and we definitely packed them as full as we possibly could.  We spent yesterday hiking, eating Mexican food, playing silly arcade games, and racing go karts.  

Daniel won a stuffed unicorn--the one from the Despicable Me movies--for me, and it made for a hilarious end to the night.  The workers were no strangers to the films--they made me say the line, "IT'S SO FLUFFY!" before they handed her to me.  What a memory.
